How do I talk to the agent?

Push-to-talk on desktop, tap-to-talk on mobile.

Updated June 30, 2026

Jenvu uses a push-to-talk model so it only listens when you want it to. No always-on mic, no accidental wake-ups — you stay in control.

Desktop

  1. Open the Voice Agent page.
  2. Click the mic button in the centre composer to start speaking.
  3. Click it again when you're done. The orb pulses while it's listening.
  4. The agent replies aloud the moment you release the mic.

Mobile

Same flow — tap the mic to start, tap again to stop. On iOS and Android the native mic permission prompt appears the first time. Accept it to enable voice mode.

Typing instead

Don't want to talk? Type into the composer pill and hit the arrow button. Jenvu still replies aloud unless you've muted the speaker.

Tip
Keep questions short and specific — 'Bias on Gold?' beats 'Tell me about Gold today'. The agent responds faster and more accurately.
